A Shipbuilder’s Haven

Situated across Manila Bay, the Herma Shipyard is strategically located a mere 34 nautical miles to the west of Manila – one hour away from the capital city by ferry, or three hours by land, via a 24-bus service.
The shipyard is surrounded by protective mountains on its northern, eastern, and western sides, providing a natural shield against harsh weather conditions. Operations in the shipyard are thus assured of unimpeded functionality, regardless of all but the most extreme weather conditions.
Located within the International Freeport of Bataan (FAB), in the town of Mariveles, the shipyard also enjoys ready access to idyllic beaches, invigorating mountain trails, and an array of noteworthy tourist destinations.
