Founded in 2001 on the determination to provide meaningful employment opportunities to Filipinos in their own homeland, Herma Shipyard Inc. has grown into world-class facility that looms large in the Philippine shop-building and ship-repair industry.

HSI provides comprehensive and integrated shipyard services, marked by competitive pricing, punctual delivery, and individualized attention for each client. Our workforce, comprising highly skilled and seasoned professionals, operates within a fully-equipped complex strategically positioned in the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB). This location holds immense significance within the shipbuilding and ship repair industry.

HSI holds the distinction of thus far having successfully constructed three international classed double-bottomed and double-hulled tankers, dedicated to serving major players in the Philippine oil industry.

Since its establishment in 2000, Herma Shipyard has been building vessels specific for the petroleum trade. To date, 11 vessels have been proudly fabricated within our facilities, the biggest of which so far was a 22MB Tanker named MT Matikas. We take pride in being a 100% Filipino owned shipyard that showcases Filipino workmanship in shipbuilding, at par with world-class standards.
